We had a blast last week in Orlando...but we are exhausted! We went to Magic Kingdom for 2 days, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios (MGM) and Sea World. Whew! We had so much fun. A quick run-down of the highlights of the trip:
- Meeting so many characters (Micky, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella, Pocahantas, Buzz Light Year, Woody, June from Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, Chip and Dale, Flick from A Bug's Life) and getting ALL the autographs
- Seeing Eden made up like a princess at the Bibbity, Boppity Boutique by her own fairy godmother
- Having dinner at Cinderella's Castle
- The block party parades - Awesome!
- Riding "It's a Small World," "Spinning Teacups" and "Flying Dumbo" for the first time with Eden

There's so much more, but here are a few pictures until I have the energy to write more :0) Missed yall!

Riding on daddy's shoulders in Magic Kingdom for the first time.

Meeting Tigger and Pooh the first time.

Our sleeping beauty after a long day.

One of Eden's favorite princesses...Ariel. She also loves Belle.

It's all about the mouse!

Our family at the China pavilion in Epcot. Okay, this seriously looks like China...just smaller, cooler and less crowded!

Mommy's favorite...Shamu.

Us at Sea World. I adore the Manatees!

Fun Around the House

Hey everyone! Just wanted to do a quick update. We've been having fun around the house the last 2 weeks. Here are some cute pictures of Eden's ever-expanding imagination and silly, precious personality...

Our sweet dog, Maggie, is the ever-faithful playmate...we need siblings! Eden tucked her in for a nap!

"May I take your order, please?" Playing restaurant.

"Look, mommy. I did my makeup all by myself."

Yesterday I mentioned Maggie wasn't acting like she felt good. Eden disappeared for a minute and returned with her doctor kit to check things out. Maggie got a thorough exam. "She's running a fever," Eden reported.

See the little "ice pack" on Maggie's head? Apparently she had a headache, too.

Her heartbeat was fine, though.

My brother-in-law sent these pictures of my nephew, Camp. He is 7 months old and he has 6 teeth!!! Can you believe that? Apparently, he LOVES blueberries and the water!

Last but not least, we are leaving Friday to go out of town for a week. Guess where we're going?????

DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!

We can't wait! Eden loves all things princess...so it's sure to be a memory we will never forget. We may post while we're there if we have time. Have a great week!

Evidence...

My dad and step-mom have a house in North Carolina, and this past Friday we went to visit them there for the first time. My dad loaded us all up in his gator and we set off up this BUMPY road. As we neared the top, my dad said, "Keri, you aren't going to believe this..." As we broke through the woods and rounded the top of the climb, the view took my breath away...I seriously had tears in my eyes. Incredible. Majestic. Perfect.

"God thought this up," I thought to myself. He spoke it into existence out of nothing. He imagined it, spoke it, and out of nothing there was this...think about that. Really think about it.

And this is the same God who imagined you and made you. He fashioned every fiber of your being with His own hands. He knit you together in your mother's womb (Psalm 139). He knows each word you will say before you say it. When I really allow myself to think about these truths, it is almost too much for me. The same God who made outer space made me...and loves me...it's unbelievable really.

And yet it is true. It has to be. How else can we explain it? A big blast? It's silly, really...laughable. It had to be Him. Only He is great enough.

So whatever you may be facing, stop for a minute and think about the evidence of God's presence in your life. He is real, and near, and faithful. And He is good...so very, very good.

I am going to close this post with a video I took on my camera in South Africa of my new friends, Elizabeth and Elyse, singing in their language. At the end of the song, they sing it in English. The song says, "There is no one like You, Jesus. No one like You. You are the King of kings." Enjoy! And remember to scroll to the bottom of the blog and pause the music player to hear the video. Love you all!
